Inspired living ...

Sharing humanism . . . since 2013
Building community through respectful, cooperative sharing of skills and inspirations — while having fun.
IDEAS BETWEEN FRIENDS
(2nd or 3rd Sunday - 1:00 pm)
Our feature event being roughly a 10 to 20 minute presentation (topics: humanist, reasoning, science, (non)theistic issues or just plain old motivation & life hacks. Just listen or give a few comments & questions. Followed by snacks while discussing world domination. Normally at the Nose Hill Calgary Public Library.
CONVERSATIONS OVER COFFEE OR BEER
(3rd Tues - 1:00 pm or 7:00 pm)
Discussions over coffee or beer. Either held at Weeds Coffee Shop or the Kilkenny Pub. Discussions go about anywhere often per a recent book read or some aspect that is hopefully worth grousing over. Bring some ideas & chew the rag a bit.
PHILOSOPHY IN 20
(4th Sunday - 11:00 am)
(On-line only) Listen to a few sound bytes of some very interesting life topics, then followed by an interactive, easy-going guided dialog from your favorite philosophy guru, Dr. Dave. No pressure to participate.
VENTURE DAY
(a lazy afternoon or evening)
Hanging out — chomping on dogs & burgers, some frisbee or maybe even a bit of music. Perhaps a walk, hike or some cycling. Let's get OUTSIDE! Think fresh air!!

What is Calgary Secular Assembly?
CSA is not remotely a "church" of which the "Assembly" word implies to some people. We talk, we discuss, we try to interactively help to educate & share ideas — mostly per humanism. Maybe we need a better name??
