VENTURE-DAY

Fresh air is a good thing. Most every month, we get outdoors. So if you have decided that it is OK to hang with us at some other event, then ... revitalize with a group outing – hiking, walking, cycling or X-country skiing might interest you. Or maybe a juicy BBQ. Being human is being social — particularly while enjoying some nature. And bring those kids along - get 'em away from the video games for the afternoon.

WHEN & WHERE:

• Usually every 1st Sunday of the month (or 2nd Sunday as per weather)

• Meeting places are chosen with car pooling in mind.

• Tour of beaver dams in K-country.

• Hiking in Big Hill Springs, Grotto Canyon & Sibbald Creek.

• Road biking & mountain biking in the Calgary & Bearspaw areas.

• Stargazing at Nose Hill.

• Ski trips in West Bragg Creek.
